Terms of Service
Version 1. In effect from 1 November 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and The Trustee for JAG Fitness Trust & J Tolli, a partnership (ABN 57 385 787 167) that makes and runs the flipped app ("we", "us"). "You" means the business that uses flipped, and anyone you add to it. By creating an account or using flipped, you agree to these terms. Please read them; we've kept them short.
1. What flipped is
flipped is an app for Pokémon card vendors. It records your stock, your sales, buys and trades, your shows and your expenses, works out your profit, and can show a public list of your stock to customers.
flipped is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax or financial advice. Prices and suggestions in the app are a guide only; the prices you charge are always your call.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or over and running a business (a hobby business is fine).
- Keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- The owner of a business can invite staff by sending them an invite link. The owner is responsible for who they invite and what those people do in the app. Staff can do only what their role allows.
- You're responsible for what's recorded in your account.
3. Your plan
- flipped has three plans, each for one business: Free (1 person, up to 50 items), Solo (A$19 a month or A$190 a year; 1 person, no item limit) and Team (A$29 a month or A$290 a year; up to 4 people). Items are everything in your portfolio: each copy of a card, each graded card, each sealed box and each mystery pack. Selling, buying and trading are never limited. You pay through Stripe, from the Subscription screen in the app.
- Paid plans open in mid-November 2026. Until then, everything in flipped is free.
- A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. We'll charge the card on file at the price shown when you subscribed.
- You can cancel any time, in the app under Settings › Your business › Subscription › Manage subscription. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your business moves to Free. We don't charge cancellation fees.
- Changing plan: if you move up, we charge the difference straight away. If you move down, the change starts when your plan renews.
- Refunds: we don't refund part of a month or year. You keep your plan to the end of what you've paid for. Nothing in these terms takes away your right to a refund under the Australian Consumer Law (see section 4).
- Price changes: we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price goes up. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know and try again. If it still isn't paid after 7 days, your business moves to Free. Your records are kept, and you can keep selling, buying and trading.
- Prices are in Australian dollars. We're not registered for GST yet, so our prices include no GST.
3. If selling pauses
If selling pauses, your account stays, and your portfolio and history stay safe and readable. You just can't make new deals while it's paused.
4. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract and get a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a failure doesn't amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem fixed in a reasonable time, and if that isn't done, to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes those rights.
5. Your data is yours
- You own your business's data: your stock, deals, shows, prices and notes. We don't claim any ownership of it.
- You give us permission to store, copy and process it only so we can run flipped for you (for example, to save it, sync it between your phones and show your customer list).
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
- Getting your data out: download your portfolio and every deal as spreadsheet (CSV) files any time, in the app under Settings › Your business › Export your data. Or email us and we'll send your records.
- If you record other people's details, such as a name on a deal, you are responsible for doing so fairly and lawfully.
6. Your customer list is public by your choice
When you switch on your customer list, anyone with the link or QR code can see everything in stock in your portfolio, with its condition, asking prices, where you keep it and your public business name. You can't pick which items show. You can hide prices, and you can switch the list off at any time. Our Privacy Policy lists exactly what it shows. Check what's showing before you put the QR code on your table. We're not responsible for what your list shows while you have it on.
7. Using flipped fairly
You agree not to:
- use flipped for anything illegal, including selling stolen, counterfeit or fake cards and presenting them as genuine;
- record anything misleading on your customer list, such as fake prices or stock you don't have, to mislead buyers;
- try to get into another business's data, or test or get around our security;
- overload, scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the app or its card data;
- share your sign-in or resell access to flipped;
- upload anything harmful, offensive or that you don't have the right to use.
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account (see section 10).
8. Availability, offline use and card data
- We work hard to keep flipped running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance or updates, and we'll try to give notice when we can.
- Offline at shows. flipped keeps a copy of your stock on your phone and saves deals while you have no signal, then sends them when you're back online. Deals saved offline are only on that phone until they send. If the phone is lost, broken or its browser data is cleared before they send, those deals can be lost. Get back online when you can, and don't clear your browser data while deals are waiting.
- If a deal saved offline can't be recorded when it sends (for example, someone else already sold that card), it is refused and the app shows it as needing your attention.
- Card names, sets, numbers and pictures come from public third-party sources. They may sometimes be wrong or missing, and you can correct a card yourself.
- Check your numbers. flipped works out your profit and totals from what you record. You're responsible for checking your records before relying on them for tax or other decisions.
9. Our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we don't make promises about flipped beyond those in these terms and the guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost opportunities;
- where our liability can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again, or paying for it to be supplied again, or refunding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (section 4) or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
10. Ending your account
You can leave any time. Delete your account in the app under Settings › Your business › Business › Delete account, or email us and we'll do it for you. If you're the only owner, you first hand it on to someone on your team (Hand it on), or close it. If you subscribed on the web, closing stops it renewing. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it there. See Delete your account.
We can suspend or close an account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, don't pay, or if the law requires it. Unless it's urgent or illegal activity, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it.
What happens to your data: if your subscription ends or pausesif selling pauses, your records stay, and you can still see and export them. If you close your business, you choose when its accounts are deleted. With Delete accounts in 30 days, you can reopen it until then; when the 30 days end, every account is deleted and it can't be reopened. With Delete accounts now, every account is deleted at once and it can't be reopened. Either way, your deals, stock and shows are kept for 5 years from the close, then removed. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your records when an account is deleted or a business is closed.
If we ever stop running flipped, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to get a copy of your data.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as flipped grows. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then. Keeping on using flipped after the change means you accept it.
12. The legal bits
- These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria (and the federal courts of Australia) can hear any dispute.
- If you have a problem, please talk to us first at support@flippedtcg.com.au. Most things can be sorted quickly.
- If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- Pokémon and the names of Pokémon cards are trademarks of their owners, including Nintendo, Creatures and GAME FREAK. flipped is not made by, affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by them or The Pokémon Company.
